Short description of organisation / center:

System and Generation Association – S&G was established in 2008.

Our staff is formed of: EU specialist, lawyer, specialist of the development, academician, PCM-master, youth trainers, civil servant and people corded to private sector in our association. In addition to this, there are 200 volunteers and %90 of those is between the ages of 13-30.

S&G aims at making young people integrated with the society, encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit, helping them acquire knowledge and qualification getting them know young people from different cultures, empowering sympathy and tolerance, improving cooperation and encouraging European cooperation with young people, supporting the cooperation between the international institutions.

Motto of S&G: imagining the societal systems of yesterday and today can facilitate the generation of foresight in order to build tomorrow.

OUR VISION is to contribute to:

  • Employability of Young People by means of facilitating their participation in Learning Oriented European Journey and getting S&G operating at EU Level until the year 2023.

MISSION: To contribute a sustainable development and overcome the size of youngsters dreams by increasing the international mobility of young people and imaging the societal systems of yesterday and today.
S&G gets into the act about: increasing of economic growth, providing efficiency about increasing and sustaining production, sustainability that cares socioeconomic needs and planning that analyse the problems, and also with the belief of projecting process, considering co-working culture by reaching this target as the best way, combining the systems which made in EU and creativity of our citizens especially the youth.

Integrating the intercultural learning, human rights education and education for active citizenship in its activities:

S&G joined more than 50 projects on youth field both in domestic and overseas, prepared projects, presented and carried out them since its establishment.
Three projects of S&G applied with Non-Formal Learning Techniques, were selected as Best Practice by TNRA, EU and ALF, such as:

  • Youth Caravan,
  • New Constitution and
  • EVS in Greece about Environment

S&G is an incubator for project development.
Our association has hosted in Turkey TC, YE, seminars, study sessions, conferences etc., we already sent 70 participants abroad and host for different projects (TC, YE, EVS) in Turkey. In 2014 we developed and implement project ICE – Intercultural Citizenship Education which is include different topics from area of human rights education and active citizenship education. Often we work in this topics with the cooperation with Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation.

Our experience in organization of international youth activities and the training of youth workers in multinational and multicultural context:

S&G regulary working in area of non-formal education for youth and youth workers.
Almost all our training courses has been organized in international level with cooperation minimum as 3-4 European countries (January 2015).
In April 2014 we implemented TC ICE – Intercultural Citizenship Education, organized for youth workers from 7 countries about non-formal education methods for teaching for active citizenship in intercultural community.
Before this, our organization was as a partner for the TC organized by Slovakian partners: How to run Youth Centers. Members of our organization were involved as trainers and facilitators.

The mechanisms we use in your organization / center in terms of ensuring the participation of young people in preparation and realization of our activities:

Nowadays we have in your organization a few initiative groups of young people who are involved as volunteers to our daily activities and who are working on developing their own projects. Usually, we involve young people in a project idea development phase by using brainstorming and discussions.
During the project preparation and implementation we give for them tasks and responsibilities, which volunteers do with the facilitation of other experienced members of organization. To involve more young people we using our website and pages in social networks for announcement.

Where we see the role of your organization / center in promotion and implementation of the youth policies of Council of Europe in our country, region and internationally:

First of as one of main goals of our organization is to inform young people about youth policy of European Union by using EU programmes and tools as: Erasmus+ (Youth in Action – before Erasmus+).
With our project Youth Caravan – we informing local (Turkish) youth about all the opportunities which EU has for young people’s personal and professional development. We actively participate in all kinds of National and International discussions for youth policy making and decission-making. For this issue, we are actively cooperating with Turkish National Agency.

The facilities of our organization / center (accommodation, educational facilities, training staff, specific methodologies etc.):

Our organization’s office equipped all necessary technical and educational equipment for work with young people and for their development as: wifi, video camera, place for discussions, working areas with computers, projector and boards, books and brochures.
Most of our members has education in areas related to youth work: psychology, social work, social pedagogy and management. Their experience in area of project design and management, working as a trainers and facilitators for youth and speak at least one foreign language. One of the specific methods which we usually use in our work: participatory video making methodology. For better management we usually use electronic system by using drive tools and emailing.

Association ” International Youth Center ” is a non-profit organization created by and for young people. The main objectives of the association are:

  • To promote and develop culture, education, environment, science, sport and tourism in the country;

Our organization integrate the intercultural learning, human rights education and education for active citizenship in all of the activities that we are doing, by making separate topics for each of the three topics above.
By this way we ensure that all of the participants will learn about these three topics and could form opinion about them.

Our experience in organization of international youth activities and the training of youth workers in multinational and multicultural context:

Our organization has successfully made many projects in the area of youth projects. Some of our projects were local, made in Bulgaria, but others were international projects. We think, that with our experience in the youth projects, we could add positives to the project.

As a result of our a long–term strategy for the developing of the network of partnerships we realized a great number of international youth projects together.
Some of them are Erasmus + Youth Programme, such as:

Short description of organisation / center:

Villa Elba is a Youth Centre supported and supervised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In Finland network of Youth Centres have a public and social role to support the growth and development of children and young people. The Centres are run under the Finnish law covering youth work  and we provide a safe operating environment and expert service for young people and educators. Our main expertise is in international youth work, environmental education, social youth work and youth work development projects. Our work consists of for example international camps, volunteering work for young people, coordination of volunteering projects, educational activities, nature school, adventure education, information and guidance about international programmes and regional coordination of youth work.

Youth Centre Villa Elba is in daily use for children and young people.

Youth Centre Villa Elba is in daily use for children and young people. Human rights education is a base of our work, and it appears  for example in our work towards equity as well as in our environmental education and international activities. We are part of non-discrimination-zone movement. We also raise awareness about childrens rights through exhibitions, social media and support young people participation through regional projects. At our international work we support young people to gain multicultural xperiences and intercultural competences through international activities. We also work to raise young people’s awareness about global responsibilities and to support young people in their growth into global citizens.  Through European Solidarity Corps programme we offer young people a possibility to take part in solidarity actions.

Youth participation is one of our core values. Young people’s opinions are important for us and participation is seen as the opportunity to be heard and to have an influence.

In our programmes, we encourage young people to take responsibility for decision-making and problem solving. Our experts rcognize the situations where young people are able to handle the responsibility and when the activity needs to be guided. by the leader.

Where we see the role of our organization / center in promotion and implementation of the youth policies of Council of Europe in our country, region and internationally:

Villa Elba was awarded the Council of Europe Quality Label in 2013 and we are committed to promote the values of Council of Europe: Human Rights, democracy and rule of law.

When we were awarded the Quality Label, our international youth work expertise was highlighted as a key point in our activities.  We provide youth and youth workers opportunities to experience multicultural learning both in their local community and by travelling abroad. We like to think of ourselves as a laboratory for innovation in youth work.

We promote and host activities in areas relevant to youth policy from local to European level to the local level and contribute with our knowhow and experiences to youth work practices, youth research and youth policy.

We offer accommodation up to 74 persons in cosy cabins and houses. We have several modern meeting rooms with up to 170 persons. Elba has three saunas, one electric heated, one heated by wood and one tent sauna.

Villa Elba is surrounded by sea and forest, which offers excellent opportunities for many kind of outdoor activities during the different seasons. In summer time hiking, canoening, sup-boards and biking are popular activities and in winter time our quests can try out skiing, ice-skatindg, winter fishing, kick sledges and snow shoes.

The pedagogial staff in Villa Elba have expertice in global education, international youth work, environmental education and social youth work.

Our priorities / fields of interest for cooperation with other members of the Network in the sphere of intercultural learning:

With Erasmus+ projects we aim to help youth and youth workers in our area to develop their multicultural skills, and we both host and send participants to youth exchanges, training courses, study visits, seminars etc. 

In youth exchanges we work with organisations that actucally work with young people and include them in all stages of the project.

With ESC volunteering projects we help organisations active in youth- and leisurework to develop their activities and multicultural competence. We coordinate several volunteering projects in our area and look for partners sending volunteers. 

With ESC volunteering team projects we intend to support the development of local communities and look for partners sending volunteers. We host especially young people with less opportunities to offer them a chance to develop their everyday and working life skills. We also send volunteers to similar projects.

We are an Albanian NGO, established in January 2012, with a special focus on young generation and European values. ACT for SOCIETY Centre believes in the power of change. It aims at making this change happen through “…new, creative, and effective strategies and initiatives…

ACT for SOCIETY Centre recognizes that Albanian’s young democracy must become increasingly self-reliant and lead its own development. In the current situation, the pressing need is to encourage a greater capacity development, awareness, and participation by Albanian institutions and local communities.

ACT for SOCIETY Centre also believes that best results are produced through the right combination of development project integrating strong capacity development thus enabling project actors and beneficiaries to implement effective and efficient projects that also provide for impact on society and sustainability of results.

We are currently working with three projects.

Be a Man Club is one of our campaigns. “Be a man” lifestyles campaign, which aims to reinforce key messages of the Young Men Initiative and encourage changes at the school level and beyond. The campaign is supported by variety of educational materials, social media and “activities” organized and conducted by the students, members of “Be a man” clubs (abbreviated BMC). Members of “Be a man” clubs are both young men and women, and in the region they gather several hundred active members. In the Balkans, there are currently 40 active “Be a man” clubs with 1,500 active members. Leading philosophy of the Young Men Initiative is that young men should not be seen as an obstacle to peace and gender equality, but as key allies in the promotion of non-violent, healthy relationships and communities.

Young women, as active members of the community, should be active participants in society, as well as agents of change. We always work with young people and they are always welcomed to our office for everything that they need.

We focus on gender equality and equity, human rights, anti-violence and anti-extremism, participation in democracy, youth capacity-building.
Objectives :

  • Advocacy and awareness-raising, focusing on human rights topic;
  • Promote human rights and inclusiveness of marginalized groups and vulnerable groups;
  • Enhance youth activities through non-formal education;
  • Stimulate transparent decision-making processes in democracy;
  • Embrace think-tank ideology and stimulate research;
  • Active participation in international, regional and national networks;
  • Peace – Building through Culture and Art.

ACT for SOCIETY Center has immensely invested in human resources development. Upon its establishment, our staff received comprehensive training and technical support including training retreats, training of trainers/training of consultants, regional internships, and on-the-job training that is followed by continuous professional and personal development.

We are Accredited for EVS (European Volunteer Service) – Sending, Receiving and Coordinating Organisation with code 2015-1-SI02-KA110-013235 within the European Commission’s Erasmus+/ Youth in Action Programme.

Integration of the intercultural learning, human rights education and education for active citizenship in its activities:

Until our establishment we have organized more than 35 projects, projects with focus on gender, human rights, anticipation, art andculture. In focus is Non-Formal Learning Techniques, we have organized: info sessions Training Courses, Youth Exchange, seminars, study sessions, conferences, street actions, and different campaigns etc.

Our experience in organization of international youth activities and the training of youth workers in multinational and multicultural context:

All our training courses have been organized in international context with the cooperation of minimum 7-9 European countries. Our first experience was in 2013 with one Training Course in Italy. We have run a project by our organization called: Gender in Youth Work: Perspectives, Challenges and Opportunity, in collaboration with 9 partners from the region and European Countries. We are partners in more than 20 Youth in Action and Erasmus+ Projects.

The mechanisms we use in our organization / center in terms of ensuring the participation of young people in preparation and realization of our activities:

To involve more young people in our center we are using our website and pages in social networks for calls, another thing that we have is a club with our volunteers, they are free to create idea for different projects, especially in projects with schools and universities. Always we are using brainstorming and discussions in our daily work.

One of our main goals is to educate young people on human rights, gender and extremism, with the support of our donors we are working on those topics especially by using non-formal education methodology. Second but not last is to inform young people about youth policy of European Union by using EU programmes and tools as: Erasmus+ (Youth in Action – before Erasmus+). We have and one program that is called MasterPeace, when we are creating different projects using Art and Theater as tools of non-formal education.

Our Center has all necessary technical and educational equipmentfor working with young people and for their development as: working areas with computers, printers, projector, boards, books and brochures, WiFi, video camera, place for discussions..etc

The staffs of our Center is well-trained professionals in youth issues, gender issue, unemployment, EU integration process, good governance and reinforcement of institutions etc. All these experience and skills have come because of lots of trainings in which they have been involved and because of the experience they have gained in the implementation of many projects. This is a guarantee that they have the right knowledge and the experience to fully implement all the activities foreseen in this project to be implemented by ACT for SOCIETY Center.

EURO-NET is a not for profit association that is member or associated member of 57 international networks (5 of them are EU networks: EUROPE DIRECT, EUROGUIDANCE, EURODESK, SOLVIT and EBN-EUROPEAN BUSINESS & INNOVATION CENTRE NETWORK) .
EURO-NET gives to children, young people and adults these services:

  • information and project development center
  • organization of training courses, exchanges and cultural, artistic or sport activities
  • sector study, research
  • counseling, crisis support and prevention
  • e-learning, networking, partnerships, training courses and workshops
  • publications, newspapers and web sites.

It has realized more than 330 European projects, especially with Youth and Youth in Action, Socrates, Leonardo, LLP, Progress, Daphne, Life, E-Aid, Culture, Creative Europe, Erasmus Plus (KA1 and KA2), Representation in Italy of E.C., European Youth Foundation, Council of Europe, etc.
EURO-NET is also the leader of a consortium (called CONCRETO) that is managing a “Creative Centre” (called TILT) in Marconia di Pisticci (province of Matera): the aforementioned centre is composed of multipurpose open spaces according to the “Visioni Urbane” programme’s style (a project of “Patto con I Giovani”) realized by REGIONE BASILICATA together with MINISTERO DELLO SVILUPPO ECONOMICO (Ministry of Economic Development) and financed by the FAS, meaning Underused Areas Funds. It covers an indoor area of about 400 sq mt, a 700 sq mt parkland, a 400 sq mt terrace, a 1000 seats auditorium (with a stage of 300 sq mt) and a large parking. The Centre for Creativity can be suitable for live performances (theatre, concerts, stand-up comedies and so on), fairs, training courses, meeting, sport events, cultural exhibitions, movies (there are also a well-equipped editing hall and a recording studio). Moreover it includes some café areas, guest rooms, catering, info-point, show-room, etc

EURO-NET was chosen 2 times from the European Commission in the Pan-European Working Groups for its competences and 3 times published for its best practices in the field of media and communications).
It is also specialised in the realisation of cartoons, electronic games, videos, movies. etc.
The Association co-operates with many public Administrations with which it has particular agreements for the diffusion of juvenile and adults activities and helps all juvenile organisations and any other type of organisations to realise European programs.

Moreover, the association has organized the Short Movie Festival twice under the aegis of the Council of Europe and under the patronage of the PRESIDENT OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC, that awarded both activities with a medal.

EURO-NET has a wide experience in the youth field and owns permanent and highly qualified facilities for training courses, meetings, apprenticeships, workshops, youth exchanges or initiatives, etc. with different skills: its facilities, together with the staff’s skills, allow to always meet the stated goals.
It has realized more than 330 European projects, especially with Youth and Youth in Action, Socrates, Leonardo, LLP, Progress, Daphne, Life, E-Aid, Culture, Creative Europe, Erasmus Plus (KA1 and KA2), Representation in Italy of E.C., European Youth Foundation, Council of Europe, etc.

We are for sure the most important organisation in the region. Each year we permit to about 3-400 young people to realise mobilities abroad (trainings, courses,exchanges, etc.).

Our office has all the necessary facilities (many computers, 3 scanners, 2 printers, 2 very fast lines for internet, 1 fax, 2 telephones, etc.)
For accommodation we use various hotel, very close to the office (about 100 meters).
